The 51-year-old Oscar winner George Clooney and the 32-year-old former wrestler Stacy Keibler share a moment on the red carpet at the premiere of his film 'The Descendants' in New York City.

George Clooney has reportedly begun dating former WWE star Stacy Keibler.

The pair apparently started spending time together after being introduced by a mutual friend, with Keibler flying to Italy to join the Ides of March star at his Lake Como home.

An insider told Life & Style: "[Clooney's] enjoying spending time with Stacy, but he just got out of a two-year relationship. George isn't ready for anything serious. This fling is purely for fun."

Keibler has not commented on a possible romance with Clooney, but did confirm on Twitter last month that she was travelling in Italy.

She wrote at the time: "I just can't stop eating! I'm in love w Italy, every single part of it… (sic)"

A rep for Clooney is yet to comment on the report.

Hollywood heartthrob actor George Clooney has split from his Italian girlfriend of two years Elisabetta Canalis, the ex-couple said on Wednesday.

"We are not together anymore. It's difficult and very personal, and we hope everyone can respect our privacy," they said in a joint statement cited by a magazine.

A spokesman for 32-year-old Elisabetta added, "It is a very personal and sad matter, and Elisabetta wants it to remain that way. She will take some time and will then face the press. She has not authorized me to say when the split happened."

Clooney, 49, contracted malaria during a recent trip to Africa as part of a diplomatic mission to prevent another genocide in Sudan.
