A shocking photo from the Hollywood hair scene: John Travolta is showing off his baldness.

The actor, who has meticulously tried to cover up his hair loss for years, was seen out in Hawaii without his hair piece.

Travolta has reportedly even demanded re-shoots of his magazine spreads if his toupee was the slightest bit obvious.

A representative for the couple - who announced they were expecting a third child in May - has confirmed they will look forward to welcoming a son into the world later this year, almost two years after their 16-year-old child Jett died after suffering a seizure during a family holiday to the Bahamas.

Friends of the couple - who also have 10-year-old daughter Ella Bleu - are confident the new addition to the family can go someway towards easing their pain over the loss of their son.

A family friend said: "This baby is such a healing baby."
