According to the documents, Suvari cited "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for their split.

Suvari requests that the judge prevent Sestito from receiving any spousal support. The star also wants to change her name from Mena Suvari-Sestito back to Mena Suvari.

The documents state that the couple were officially separated on the first of November 2011.

Suvari married the 25-year-old Italian-Canadian concert promoter in June 2010 during an intimate ceremony in Italy's romantic capital Rome.
